Samsung Solve for Tomorrow

Arjun created SkyGuard, a wildfire monitoring drone to combat pollution and report wildfires using computer vision and a custom UAV design. Funded ₹2.5 lakh by Samsung as a finalist of Solve For Tomorrow, praised by IIT Delhi professors, and featured on CNN and Money Control, Arjun is championing sustainability and innovation.

Diana Awards

Angad was 1 of 24 Indians to receive the Diana award in 2024. He is the founder of Eco Bin Recycle, an initiative focused on collecting and recycling e-waste to reduce environmental impact. So far, he has collected 1.5 tonnes of electronic waste and launched an ambassadors program to involve young people in collection drives and raise awareness about responsible e-waste disposal.

IRIS National Science Fair Top 50

This project presents a sustainable cooling system using Heusler alloys and the magnetocaloric effect (MCE) to reduce energy consumption and eliminate harmful refrigerants. It incorporates recycled materials, such as nickel from e-waste, for eco-friendliness and cost-effectiveness. Achieving a temperature change of 0.8 K, the system demonstrates reliability, scalability, and potential applications in households and data centers, offering a greener alternative to traditional refrigeration methods.

Hi work using XG-Boosting to detect and predict Algal blooms was nationally recongised by SJWP. As one of 15 Indian students selected Veer pitched his model to leading researchers at IIT Delhi

The use of a convertible bag-desk resulted in higher motivation, improved their posture and reduced eye strain. It is also accompnaied by a solar lamp allowing students to work in the dark.

Bright Spark Invention Challenge - People's Choice Award

Rudrav developed Safe Haven, a sustainable and easy-to-install shelter designed to support flood and landslide victims in India. Built using recycled shipping pallets and bamboo, the shelter is both cost-effective and environmentally friendly. It is designed to provide essential living conditions, featuring rainwater drainage systems, built-in storage, and dedicated sleeping space for displaced families.

When Shubh’s house help fell into major debt after a family member’s accident due to lack of insurance, he saw the urgent need for accessible financial guidance. This led him to design Aarogya Vardaan, a voice-enabled, multilingual AI system that helps household workers find suitable insurance plans. Using natural language processing (NLP), it allows users to ask questions in their preferred language, simplifying policy comparisons and providing personalized recommendations, ensuring financial security is within reach for all.
