Week by week curriculum

Session 1

Overview of brain signals, EEG frequency bands, and what mental states look like electrically.

Session 2

Record EEG for three mental states that will trigger play, pause, and rewind.

Session 3

Filter noise, remove artifacts, and segment EEG into usable data windows.

Session 4

Compute band-power and basic statistical features that separate the three mental states.

Session 5

Train a simple model to distinguish play vs pause vs rewind mental patterns.

Session 6

Build a live EEG pipeline that converts streaming signals into predicted commands.

Session 7

Map classifier outputs to play, pause, and rewind controls.

Session 8

Refine the model, recalibrate signals, and run the full end-to-end demonstration.
