Suno is an innovative OCR and TTS-based device developed by Padmaja to make reading more accessible for the visually impaired. Inspired by her experience as a scribe, Padmaja recognized the importance of enabling independent reading and set out to create a solution that empowers users. Suno integrates computer vision models to process text, a 3D-printed structure for portability and usability, and audio output to deliver multilingual reading capabilities. This thoughtfully designed device not only enhances access to information but also promotes inclusivity and independence for visually impaired individuals.
